About Us

Double Second began with a simple idea: to create fashion with a distinct point of view, where beautiful design, flattering fit and thoughtful detail all matter equally.

Our founder, Emily, graduated from De Montfort University with a joint honours degree in Contour and Fashion Design, driven by a determination to build a career in fashion and create something of her own. After years spent designing for established brands and retailers, she felt ready to bring her own handwriting, instincts and vision to life. Double Second was born from that ambition.

From our home in Shoreditch, London, our team designs and develops collections made to be worn, loved and remembered.

For us, great design is about more than how something looks. It is about how a fabric feels, how a silhouette falls, how a garment fits and the small details that make it feel special. Every collection is developed with care, from the first sketch through to the final finish, with a focus on creating pieces that feel considered, flattering and effortless to wear.

We also believe that how our clothes are made matters. We work with audited factories that support fair pay and safe working conditions for the people who bring our designs to life.

Our aim is not simply to create the outfit of the moment, but pieces you will want to come back to long after the season has moved on.
